*BLACK FRIDAY DEALS* Who will be your shopper??
I love seeing everyone's opinion on this bass, I bought one because I wanted to flip the strings and play it left handed and I didn't want to be experimenting with an expensive guitar. I love it.
Funny thing about that advertisement, he didn’t play a Baretta. The guitar in that pic is not his 5150. The 5150 had a Pacer body, unslanted pickup, the neck was based on one of the Frankie necks, and the headstock was the banana based on his Destroyer, which itself was based on a Explorer. It most definitely was not a Baretta. The Kramer 84 is based on that 5150, not so much the Baretta.
Can you just tune your guitar for God sake! Btw, nice review
Stainless frets would make it perfect.... But still looks very cool.
Just bought this!
Bugera 6262 and 333XL are such great looking amps/
I like your sense of humor 😄
I have this guitar and ive named it blupiter
I have one. I put a JB in the bridge and a 80s era ESP "vintage style" tremolo with brass V saddles. The saddles are stamped ESP and the block is FAT!! This guitar screams for more and more punishment. When you just wanna bang around in the bar this is really all you need. It was the best 200 bucks Ive spent. The Duncan JB and the ESP bridge I already had, I primarily got this guitar to lightly mod and just leave at the bar. It didnt disappoint.
Just take a multipad. Good demo, though. Thanks.
Owned 2 of the original ones back years ago great guitars. Love the paint on that one and if I do buy one thats the color I want. Used to have an 87 USA Jackson super strat in the color and it was stunning.
Cool played
yes.
HELIX is nice! Guitar processors can make a big difference in sound depending on the CAB IR you use. actually there are many IR products on the market, but I think DYNAX IR has the best sound. As stated in their product description, DYNAX IR is really fast. When using IRs, the pick attack is sometimes delayed, and it is difficult to add picking nuances, but their IR prevents all of that. It's revolutionary!
Chet would approve!
Watching this guys videos is like watching paint dry 🙈
I once had an 00-18 but sold it during my college years, 60 years ago. I now again have a 1965 Martin 00-18 and thoroughly enjoy playing it. At that time you had to wait many months for this guitar and it had a rosewood fret board, I purchased mine off Reverb. I love the tone and it is one of my favorite guitars. I especially enjoy mahogany guitars as I was brought up listening my father play his 1945 Martin D-18. These guitars do improve with age and are one of the best guitars to purchase and enjoy for the rest of your lifetime. Now at 82, I play mine every day!
Your demonstration of decreasing the pitch of a string to the target point and stopping at the point where only the blue color (you call it "green") target point is reached demonstrates an incorrect method of tuning a string. (1) When you're tuning your guitar by tuner or harmonic tuning (both of which you are demonstrating) and a string vibration is OVER the target blue point, you should lower the string BELOW the target point so it is slightly flat, then very gradually raise it until the blue light point is reached, but no yellow color is showing. If you over-shoot and some yellow is showing, lower it down, again, to when a slightly flat red color is showing and then gradually raise it to the blue target point is reached and no yellow is showing. The reason follows: (2) Both worm gears inside each tuning key, no matter how expensive, have a small amount of slack between them and by lowering the pitch of a string, this slack occurs. Then, when you start playing the guitar, the string tension pulls that slack out of the gears and it is prone to going slightly flat. This is a matter of physics, not opinion. (3) The approach in #1 above removes that tiny amount of slack so flattening of pitch does not occur. The gears remain tight against each other in this way. Turning the tuner key in the position of increasing pitch and hitting the blue target point, but not showing yellow color, ensures that the gears have no slack in them and won't flatten with playing of the guitar. This is the widely-accepted method of tuning when a tuning device is used, including all versions of tuners for the guitar, even the stroboscopic Petersons. Even when you are harmonically tuning off the 6th string and not using a tuner, the gear slack issue must be considered. Tune upwards until correct pitch is achieved, never downward.
The first words from the baby of a Peavey rep are "angled baffle."
He playes the drum😀
This was incredible! Beautiful stuff right here! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Where did this take place?
Class act
Just bought this even tho I use a boss katana I definitely wanna try this 😁
how much cost?
should be a preference thing
Is this available left handed anywhere ?
Are these guitars made in korea, then shipped to the states for a final check before sending out.?.
bravissimo!!!
He put the ligature on wrong on the clarinet
Great commercial guys!
New found infatuation for Kramer so your video popped into my feed. Great stuff fellas 😮 I’m subscribed 🎸
That's 10 barks of approval.
Yes…. But the camera color grading? 😄 this is log file. Applicate the 3D lut please
My last Kramer I owned I bought autum of 1989 - it was a Kramer ST-605 with a tilted humbucker and the same headstock and logo as this - I want a new Kramer now and this is a great candidate. - I also looked at the Kramer Jersey Star too, but I am not sure yet.... -tnx for a great and humourus video! 🤣
Bargin of a lifetime thats the kramer baretta special broski!, i put a JB n graphtech nut and it feels and sounds like the 1000$ CAD counterpart minus the floyd ofcourse... (then i put on locking tuners an made it that much better) a 30$ wilkinson bridge is next and with all that it equals 440$ with the installation fee 500$
Slap for 10 seconds on a metal bass and then talk about stuff we dont need to know because we all can look at the specs lol
Just say get the fuck on with it man holy shit… annoying man. Didn’t he say he was alone in that room boring review
Great video!
I love my Dean Thoroughbred Select which I purchased the day EVH died :( I've done a couple of tweaks to it such as new CTS pots, SwitchCraft toggle switch, Puretone output jack, Graphtech XL nut, plays and sounds every bit as good as my Gibson Les Paul. Even did a full cover of Dokken's Kiss of Death (as in the demo here) sounds great.
Their logo/headstock is so ugly. They can’t do a decent design with it to save their lives. I’m a designer, so I just couldn’t buy one. The body is sick though
Plug it to an amplifier. What does that sound like?
Am i the only one who noticed through out the video hes not playing the same guitar? The other model is the gold andromeda same guitar but a different colour. Just throws off the continuity of the video
What would happen if you put 13 gauge electric strings on it? Maybe that would sound ok.
I can not download the software too. I purchased dual drive and tried to register on their site. But login does not work. When I try to download it, it redirects to login page. I created 3 support tickets on balckstar web site, no answer. if somebody has DMG. file, please share
Electric strings sound so much better😀 on that Martin
Nick Drake played nickel electric strings on his Taylor acoustic, but they were a set of 12s iirc. You can get thicker nickel strings. I understand Drake never changed his strings either, so the bass came from all that gunk.
D'addario make 10-47 acoustic strings... thickness of strings has nothing to do with it.
"They put no finish on these from the factory" "they oil them"
Cannot imagine a more useless exercise than doing this without mentioning GUAGE. They were standard, apparently.
